• Dr. Matthew Perry Lead Pastor

    Dr. Matthew Perry was called to be the Lead Pastor at Arapahoe Road Baptist Church (ARBC) in 2011. Pastor Matt has been in gospel ministry since 1992.  He received his Doctor of Ministry from Southern Baptist Theological Seminary located in Louisville Kentucky and he is currently pursuing a PhD from Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary.

  • Carla Parmenter Administrative Assistant

    Carla is the calm and caring presence in the ARBC Office.  She approaches her work in an efficient way which translates into making ARBC more effective in doing God’s work.

  • Diane Weston
    Diane Weston Administrative Support

    Diane has been at ARBC since 2004 as pianist and since 2007 as part-time administrative support. She believes God in His goodness has brought her here where she can use her gifts and experience the deep joy of being a part of this family of believers.

    She and her husband, Tom, live in Parker and have two grown children and a son-in-law.

  • Jimmie Lou Smith Preschool Director

    Jimmie Lou Smith is the Director of the ARBC Preschool Department, as well as, the Vacation Bible School Director. She has a BS in Psychology; M.Ed. in Education; post graduate work in Educational Leadership and Learning Disabilities. Best of all, Jimmie Lou, has a love and passion for children.


  • Sam Huckaby Children's Director

    Sam Huckaby has been an active leader for our precious ARBC children. Sam serves as a Sunday School teacher and AWANA Commander and has previously been a deacon.  In 2018, he accepted the position of Children’s Director.  Sam and his awesome wife, Heidi, love teaching the kids at ARBC about Jesus and how all parts of the Bible fit into God’s redemptive story.  The Huckaby’s are blessed to have an adorable son named Connor.

  • Gar Hoover Youth Director

    Gar Hoover joined ARBC in May as our Youth Intern. Gar and his wonderful bride, Susie, moved to the Denver area from Detroit Michigan. They have adapted to the Colorado lifestyle and like to ski and go hiking. Gar is attending Denver Seminary and is a graduate of Belmont University in Nashville. Gar and Susie truly enjoy spending time with the youth at ARBC and the feeling is mutual.

  • Ken Dillender
    Ken Dillender Worship Leader

    Ken, his wife, Christine, and their three daughters—Bella, Giana and Jade came to ARBC in 2015. His full-time occupation is with CarMax, but we are so blessed that he leads worship at ARBC as well as teaches an adult Sunday School class and serves on a ministry team.

    There is a Casting Crowns song that says “I’m just a nobody, tryin’ to tell everybody all about Somebody who saved my soul. Ever since You rescued me, You gave my heart a song to sing. I’m living for the world to see nobody but Jesus,” and that describes Ken’s heart perfectly!
