Dr. Matthew Perry

Lead Pastor

Dr. Matthew Perry was called to be the Lead Pastor at Arapahoe Road Baptist Church (ARBC) in 2011. Pastor Matt has been in gospel ministry since 1992.  He received his Doctor of Ministry from Southern Baptist Theological Seminary located in Louisville Kentucky and he is currently pursuing a PhD from Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary.  During his childhood years, he lived in Virginia (twice), Michigan, and graduated from high school in Lecanto Florida.

Pastor Matt has a heart for missions and has led teams to the Caribbean Island of Trinidad 12 times. He has also gone on mission trips to Hungary and the small town of Sugar City located in southeastern Colorado.

This year (2018), Pastor Matt will be celebrating his twenty year wedding anniversary to his lovely wife, Cindy. They have four children ages 17, 14, 12, and 12. Aside from spending time with family, Pastor Matt enjoys playing the piano and is an avid soccer fan. He is an assistant editor for the Burgundy Wave, an SB Nation sports blog for the Colorado Rapids (MLS) as well as a season ticket holder to the Rapids.

Scott Morter II

Missionary-in-Residence

Pastor Scott and his family are preparing to become missionaries in Western Ireland through an organization called WorldVenture.  The members of ARBC are excited and humbled to watch the Morter family follow God’s will for their lives.  With that said, we’re going to miss them beyond measure. Pastor Scott has a B.S. in Biblical Studies from Moody Bible Institute and a Mastor of Theological Studies from Gateway Seminary.

Pastor Scott grew up in Grand Rapids Michigan. He and his beautiful wife, Kristin, have been members of ARBC for 5 years and have been married for 11.  They have four delightful children.  Pastor Scott enjoys hiking, playing basketball, and hanging out with the family watching movies.

C. Foster Payne

Worship Leader

Foster became the ARBC Worship & Choir Leader in 2017.  He currently attends Gateway Seminary, pursuring a Masters in Divinity.  In his “off time” Foster composes orchestral and wind ensemble music.  He is also the Assistant Conductor of the Mile High Community Band.  Foster plays the french horn.

Foster is a dedicated husband and father.  He has been married to Dawn for 23 years and they have three children; a son and two daughters.  Foster was raised a military BRAT and grew up predominantely between the island of Oahu in Hawaii and Novato, California.

  • What do you appreciate the most about ARBC? The opportunity to serve, to engage the body in worship, and to grow in Christ alongside the congregation.

Carla Parmenter

Administrative Assistant

Carla is the calm and caring presence in the ARBC Office.  She approaches her work in an efficient way which translates into making ARBC more effective in doing God’s work.

The warm and welcoming members at ARBC drew Carla in immediately. She never felt a more kind and friendly atmosphere in any other church. Mike and Carla became members of ARBC in 2016.

Carla grew up in St. Louis Missouri and Mike and Carla have lived in Littleton, CO since 1985. She enjoys the outdoors, working out, and quiet time.

  • Favorite Bible verse? Psalm 23. It is a reminder that the Lord is always near and watching over us.

Kevin Saile

Custodian/Maintenance and Church Cook

Not only does Kevin keep the ARBC building clean and well maintained, but he is the cook for our Wednesday night fellowship meals.  He also plays guitar for the Worship Team and enjoys engaging his talents as a songwriter and Blues Guitarist.  Kevin grew up in Englewood and attended Cherry Creek High School and Arapahoe Community College.

Kevin and his wife, Theresa, have been members of ARBC for three years.  They have three adult sons. Kevin and Theresa went on a ARBC Missions Trip to Trinidad in 2016.
