Hearing Assistance Available at ARBC

ARBC has hearing assistance equipment available for use inside the auditorium during Sunday worship services. Please see the Usher Staff in the foyer or the Sound Technician for information and assistance.

2005 Budget Requests Due

Budget requests are due in the financial office by Wednesday, September 8. The Stewardship Team will work on these during September and then coordinate with the Church Council during October. Copies will be made available October 31. Budget will be discussed Nov. 7 pm and voted Nov. 14 am.

2004 Golf Tournament

New in the Media Center

The two sets of cassette tapes for the Bible Conference by Paul Burelson are now available in the Media Center. There are four tapes on the Tabernacle and five tapes for Going on in the Race. If you missed a session or two, here is your chance to listen and be informed.

Red, White & Blue Sunday

On Sunday, July 4th, please help us celebrate our country's freedom in the worship service by wearing red, white and/or blue somewhere in your wardrobe. Sunday School and morning worship will meet at the regular times. There will be no Sunday night activities at the church.

Thanks to each one who gave the wonderful baby gifts for The Alternative Pregnancy Center. A total of 537 items were donated. This effort was a huge success and once again demonstrated the giving spirit of ARBC members and associates. God will bless many mothers and babies because of your generosity.

Needs for the Good Samaritan Food Pantry

Our Pantry needs restocked yet again, due to the high volume of requests for assistance. Your giving makes a difference! Any canned or packaged non-perishable items will be used, but we especially need tuna, pork & beans, spaghetti, crackers, macaroni & cheese, corn, peas, green beans, Raman noodles and soup. Prison Book Project

An excellent project has been brought to our attention. It involves donating Christian books to the Prison Book Project. This is a ministry that is reaching thousands of men and women who are processed through the jail and prison system throughout the United States. Prisoners read! They need good Christian books to read! If you have some Christian books that you would like to donate, contact Earlena Barbee in the Media Center for more information. Two boxes of books have already been sent.

Extended Session

We are currently enlisting workers to assist in the nursery with the extended session during the worship service. Volunteers would serve once every two months. Numerous people have agreed to help but a list of approximately 50 people is needed for the "once every two months" to work most effectively. Give Ginger a call.
