1. Genuine love for Christ. Jesus said the greatest commandment was to love God. When you place the Lord first in your life, you will want to serve within the church, read your Bible daily, tell others about His love and His plan of salvation. Remember how you felt when you met your spouse (or boyfriend/girlfriend, if you’re single)? You wanted to spend as much quality time with them as possible. This is how you should feel about the Lord. It was awesome to see how God worked in mighty ways through our students on this trip. I am happy to report that because these students were willing to move themselves out of their comfort zones and share their faith, four people they shared with prayed to receive Christ and have been put in contact with their local churches.
