Come check out the newly re-designed Youth House, enjoy beverages from the coffee shop, and have a lot of fun! You do not want to miss it! Flocking

The Youth are very close to being finished with their work on the Youth House! In order to be able to get everything done, we’ve decided to do a fundraiser. We are going to bring back...FLOCKING! “What is flocking?,” you might ask. Basically, it is that you may wake up in the morning to about 50 pink flamingos in your yard! Sounds like fun, right? If it doesn’t, do not worry, you will be able to purchase Flocking Insurance on Sunday, September 30, after the morning service. Then you can rest assured that no pink flamingos will end up in your yard. The cost for this insurance is $25.

2007 Fall Festival

Kids, you are invited our annual Fall Festival on Wednesday, October 31st from 5:30 to 8:00 PM. There will be a gift bags, door prizes, balloons and lots of games. Come and meet an Arapahoe County Sheriff’s Department Officer. We’ll also have hot dogs, popcorn, cotton candy, nacho chips, drinks and more. Kids, dress up and bring your friends for a great time!

The Lord has blessed ARBC with new folks. I am very grateful!
Because of new folks in the fellowship, questions like these arise:

“How do I relate as a new member to the folks who were already members when I joined?”
“How do I as a long-term member of ARBC relate to new people in our fellowship?”

I do not know what you will do, but I can tell you what the New Testament teaches about relating to one another in the church:

• Romans 12:10: “Be devoted to one another in brotherly love. Honor one another above yourselves.”
  
• Romans 12:16: “Live in harmony with one another. Do not be proud, but be willing to associate with people of low position. Do not be conceited.”
  
• I Peter 5:5b: “All of you clothe yourselves with humility toward one another because God opposes the proud but gives grace to the humble.”

2007 Operation Christmas Child

LET’S GET READY! You only have 4 weeks.
Starting October 14 through November 11, 2007, ARBC will begin collecting shoeboxes filled with items for children in war torn countries.

Yes, it is now time to begin preparing for our annual ministry of preparing and giving shoeboxes filled with little gifts for children around the world through
Operation Christmas Child.
