Welcome to February!
I have always liked this month because it sounds different than its spelled. It has that silent “R” which gives it an aura of mystery and danger. It’s risky. Also, it’s a lot shorter than other months but it seems to get the same amount of work done which makes it by far the most efficient of all the twelve or thirteen months. Not only that but February is the month that Candy and I began dating, so it’s only fitting that February would be a great month for the youth ministry of ARBC.

ne Parson’s Opinion
In our Sunday evening worship service I spoke on one of the favorite passages in the Bible, Psalm 23.
What a treasure chest of promises are in this psalm!
If you were not able to be in the church service let me give you the three promises found in the text:
- There is the provision of the Shepherd. I have everything I need (verses 1-3).
- There is the protection of the Shepherd. His rod and staff protect me (verses 4-5).
- There is the presence of the Shepherd. I will dwell with the Lord forever (verse 6).
The promises of the Word of God are significant because of where the promises originate and to whom they are addressed.

Known by the Scars
Presented Saturday April 8 at 7 PM and Sunday April 9 at 10:30 AM by the ARBC Adult Choir.
The story is timeless; the message never changes. Yet, if we look at Calvary through different eyes, a whole new perspecitve can be gained about the cross and God's love for us. Such is the intent of this musical by Tom Fettke and Camp Kirkland.
