Music Ministry Update
02.26.2004

March always seems to be an unusual time in planning worship. The short humdrum midwinter days appear to be coming to an end. (Although March is generally a heavy snow month and can drastically affect church attendance). Easter is not quite here yet. And it seems that everyone who has school-aged children are trying to find time for a Spring Break vacation. However, let me encourage you not to forget about worship! There is nothing quite like coming together with Christian brothers and sisters to praise God and to hear from him!

You also need to know the youth workers (many behind the scenes) put in many, many hours pulling the youth led service together. TeamKid restarts Feb 15th
02.15.2004

TeamKid is a recreation-based discipleship club for children in grades kindergarten through 6th. TeamKid is designed for children to do more than memorize Scripture! It helps children understand what the verse they memorize means, because all parts of the TeamKid meeting focus on one Bible message. The noncompetitive games, Bible story, and memory verse all contribute to help children understand and apply God's Word to their lives.

TeamKid meets every Sunday at 5:15pm.

Outreach, outreach, outreach...
02.08.2004

February and March are Outreach Focus Months for the youth ministry at Arapahoe Road. That means we have several events designed for you to reach out to your unchurched friends and invite them to a Youth Ministry Activity. From the Superbowl Party to Bowling Night, and from the ski trips to the snow tubing adventure, each of these are designed for you to bring an unchurched friend in order to introduce them to some good Christian fellowship. Will you take this opportunity to look around you and find someone who needs what you already have? I hope so. Check out the upcoming events / activities and let's each make an effort to reach those who need to be reached!

Youth Sunday, Feb 22nd
02.08.2004

We are so proud of our youth and their commitment to the Lord and spiritual matters. They have worked hard on discussing worship and planning for this Sunday. You will see them fill various roles this day ushering, praying, singing, testimonies, drama, etc. However, your role in praying for this day and then your active worship participation is vital.

May God be glorified through this special youth-led worship service.
