Each Sunday is a celebration of the resurrection of the Lord Jesus Christ. However, this Sunday, in particular, we will celebrate the Lord as the “firstfruits” (see I Corinthians 15:20). Easter’s morning worship will confirm the fact that, like Him, we Christians will rise again.

But Christ has indeed been raised from the dead, the firstfruits of those who have fallen asleep.
