YOU ARE A YOUTH LEADER! All right, you might be thinking, “No, I am not! I have never signed up to help out with any Youth event, and I never will!” Okay, you might not be a youth leader in the sense of working directly with them, but, in reality, you are because the students at ARBC gain a lot of their understanding of what it means to be a Christian by watching you. And trust me, they are watching you. They notice how you worship, how you act, how you talk. They can quickly tell if you are living a life desiring to please God or if you are living a life of hypocrisy. It is my prayer that the adults in our church will provide excellent examples of how to go about this Christian life. Granted, we will fail, but how we respond to our failure can be a valuable learning experience for students. Will you join me in being a youth leader? Will you join me in living a real and authentic Christian life that causes our students to desire to lead the same kind of life? The challenge is before you, and now you must choose to accept it or not. I pray that you do, because God can use each one of us to provide a positive example to the students at our church!
