2008 Missions Plans12.19.2007
This past year, in order to best respond to the mission opportunities God put before us, the ARBC Mission Team organized into International, North American and State/Local subteams. Because of some International Mission Board shuffling, we did not make an international trip in 2007 but did undertake mission trips to Alaska and to Stratton, Colorado, and we participated in several local mission activities, such as the Champa House and the Russian/ESL program. Because of the wealth of mission opportunities at the state and local levels, and in order to give greater focus to each of these areas, we plan to create two teams. Many projects have been identified by the State Missions team leader for the Stratton church, and he will be busy coordinating ARBC’s efforts there. At the local level, we plan to continue with the projects we’re already involved in but are seeking a Team Leader who would help us identify other areas where God is working and where we can be involved. If you feel God calling you to help ARBC respond to local mission opportunities, please contact the church office or Wayne Peterson. Posted by arbc at 12:13 PM |
