First, I want to express a huge thanks from Heidi and myself for the unbelievable generosity all of you showed in the Love Offering for Staff Appreciation. We were blown away by your kindness and support! Thank you!

I want to update you as to what is going on with the Youth. We have begun our small groups, which meet on Sunday nights. Students break up into these groups to talk about the message that was given. It has been awesome to see how effective this has been! I have heard great things from both the small group leaders and from the students.

The Youth also set a goal at the beginning of the school year to average 25-30 students coming on a consistent basis. So far, we have been averaging about 16-17, but this past Sunday we had 19! Our goal is not to have more numbers for the sake of numbers but to have more students who will be impacted by the Gospel message. Please pray for our awesome students as they continue to reach out to their friends with the Gospel.

In case you were wondering, if they accomplish their goal, they will get to make huge ice cream sundaes, with all of the Youth leaders being the main ingredient—it should be a blast!
