CAN IT BE - 2006?
12.29.2005
CAN IT BE?
There are several hymns and worship songs that use the words,
“can it be?” (“And Can It Be?”, “Amazing Love, How Can It Be?”) Songs such as these generally refer to the love of Christ extending to
us and then our disbelief that He truly loves us-in spite of our sin.
May I never loose sight of the holiness of God and that in HIS sight I am valued!
CAN IT BE?
Can it be that on the very Sunday last month that we recognized our Technical Crew that we have technical problems? That was not due to operator problems- however it was somewhat funny! Let me say, once again, that this crew is the best that I have worked with anywhere. And that includes 5 churches and 27 years.
Most Sundays you never notice that our technical crew is there, and that is a testament to their skill and rehearsal, yes, I said rehearsal. Thanks again, Fred Starks, Nick Martens, Craig Howell, Wil Powell and Kim Corzine.
CAN IT BE?
It seems impossible that it is 2006 already. This year the music ministry will be presenting an Easter musical. Easter does come “late” this year-the middle of April. Our ADULT CHOIR rehearses each Wednesday from 7:05 until 8:15. Childcare is provided. Let me encourage you to join us. (And, by the way, we give praise and thanks to God for the 33 singers at the Christmas musical-I understand that has been a long time in coming.) However, there is room for more choir chairs on stage!
CAN IT BE?
Can it be that people are being ministered to by the messages on our ARBC street sign? YES! This past year, we have had people stop in the office, visit worship services, fill out follow-up guest registration cards and call about more information-all because of the spiritual nature of the messages being presenting. May God give us insight and use this form of ministry to an even greater extent in 2006!
CAN IT BE?
Can it be that God has placed my family in such a loving church? Thank you for all the gifts, cards, prayers, and well wishes. Christmas Eve was so very special to the Corzine family as we were able to have all 8 of us together at the earlier Christmas Eve service and then enjoy a family time at home. With two of our children now being in the military, we take even more joy in the moment.
God’s Blessings to You in 2006!
Mark
