August 2005 Prayer List

Asian American Ministry Prayer Requests and Report

1) Praise God for good growth in our Sunday school class. Please continue to pray for the expansion of this class and the following members: Paul Lin (teacher), Lily Lin (director), Yukie Tomooka, Harumi Tomooka, Dora Sorongon Tiu, Cara Tiu, Carl Tiu, Jed Liu, Darren Englan, and Del Englan. This class meets every Sunday 9:30 – 10:15 AM in the church lower level Prayer Room.
2) Our Sunday school class will go to the annual Denver Dragon Boat Festival at Sloan’s Lake this coming Saturday, July 30th for witnessing to the participants at the event. Pleae pray for fruitful results from this evangelism effort.
3 An Asian American Ministry home fellowship gathering will be held at Pastor Paul Lin’s home in Greenwood Village in August. Please pray for new people to join the Fellowship from this outreach effort.
4) We welcomed Narie Kim back to our church last Sunday. Please pray for her as she looks for a new job in Denver.
5) Pray for Dr. Oscar Tiu’s smooth application process for his U. S. permanent resident status and his upcoming hospital residency/fellowship opportunities in Denver in the fall.
6) Please continue to pray for Dr. Dora Tiu’s medical training here in Denver and her receiving the certification to practice medicine in the U. S. as a respiratory specialist.
7) Pray for Grace Lin’s music ministry with ARBC this summer before she goes back to Boston University to finish her final school year on August 31st. Also pray for her work with the State Health Dept. in the cancer prevention program and her summer internship with a magazine company in southeast Denver. She will graduate from B U in 2006.
8) Tim Lin will stay in Tucson, AZ this summer to continue his study and work. He’s a junior at the University of Arizona and heavily involved in the Navigators’ campus ministry at UA.
