June 2005 Prayer List

Asian American Ministry Prayer Requests and Report

1) We welcomed Dora Tiu’s brother, Herman Sorongon, and his family of 5 with Jad, Dora’s sister’s son from L.A., visited our church on May 15. Herman is an urologist in the Philippines.
2) Congratulations to Cara Tiu for her graduation from Cherry Creek High School on May 26th. She will attend the University of Denver this fall. She was recognized at our church worship service on May 15th.
3) Please continue to pray for Lily Lin’s continuing successful physical therapy after her ACL reconstruction surgery on March 15th. Praise God, she has been making very good progress.
4) Please pray for Paul Lin’s treatment for lowering high cholesterol.
5) Pray for Lily Lin’s teaming up with Joanna Troyansky to help ARBC’s senior adult ministry.
6) Oscar Tiu’s older brother in Manila, Philippines had a stroke two weeks ago. Please pray for the recovery.
7) Please continue to pray for Dora Tiu’s medical internship here in Denver and her receiving certification to practice medicine in the U.S. as a respiratory specialist.
8) Pray for Jane and Yuki Tomooka for good health and continuing spiritual growth in Christ.
9) Praise God, Grace Lin returned from London, UK to Boston safely on April 28th. She will come back to Denver for her summer internship as a journalism major of the Boston University on June 7th. She will graduate from BU in 2006.
10) Tim Lin will stay in Tucson, AZ this summer to continue his study and work. He’s a junior at the University of Arizona.
11) Pray for the expansion of our Asian American Sunday school class. Pray for the addition of one new family from God. This class meets every Sunday 9:30 – 10:15 AM in the church lower level Prayer Room.
