24 Hours of Prayer for Hungary Mission Trip
03.30.2004

This will run April 16 starting at 6:00pm until 6:00pm April 17th in the Sanctuary, sponsored by the Missions Team. We believe that it is important to pray for the Hungary Mission Trip for their needs, their safety, and the hearts of the Hungarian people.

That ARBC folks will develop relationships and for finances to send the group to Hungary. We believe that it shows God and the Hungarian Team that ARBC is sending the team with all the support possible. Wayne Peterson announced the prayer vigil on March 28th at the morning service. A signup bulletin board is available in the foyer after the morning service for folks to sign up. 48 one-half hour time slots need to be filled by ARBC folks to come to the church to pray. There will be continuous prayer for 24 hours. Therefore, the next pray-er should arrive and start praying 5 minutes prior to their rime slot and thus each person besides the firs person will pray for 35 minutes. Two kneeling pads will be provided on each side of the pulpit (at the steps) as that much time on one’s knees can be tiring. We also plan on having the lobby open with coffee and snacks for participants. Lastly each pray-er will be provided with a list of prayer needs/requests to aid the pray-er.

Volunteers are needed for 12 two-hour time slots for a security detail during the 24 hours so folks will be secure to come and pray for the trip. These security slots will be filled by men. Please sign up on the bulletin board in the foyer, or send an email to Wayne Dooley.
