Flu and Pneumonia Shots

Fight the FLU! Arapahoe Road Baptist Church will have Flu and Pneumonia Shots Available on Wednesday, October 22, 2003 from 5:00pm-7:00pm . Sign up in the Church Office.

Flu shots $18.00- NO CHARGE for Medicare Part B when it is your primary insurance plan, Secure Horizons, and Rocky Mountain Health Plans cardholders. Insurance cards must be presented.

Pneumonia Shots $32.00 - If Medicare Part B is your primary insurance, you may be eligible to receive a pneumonia shot at no charge. Ask the nurse if you qualify. Insurance Card must be presented.

Policies for Children

  • Children must be 4 years of age or older to receive a flu shot.
  • For Children who are under 9 who are first-time flu shot recipients, two doses at least one month apart are recommended for satisfactory antibody responses. (Clinics for children needing that second dose of flu shot will be held at Littleton Hospital and Avista Hospital on Sunday November 23, from 1-3:00pm. You can also visit www.immunizecolorado.com for additional flu shot clinic sites.)
  • Parent or guardian must be present for children to receive a flu shot.
  • Parent or guardian signature is required on the consent form for those under 18 years of age.
  • Must be 18 years or older to receive a pneumonia shot.

Policies for Pregnant Women
  • Pregnant women must have a physician's prescription and be 14 or more weeks into their pregnancy to receive a flu shot.
  • You CANNOT receive a pneumonia shot if you are pregnant (or breastfeeding).
